Our History

The DeGroote Finance & Investment Council (DFIC) operates under the DeGroote Commerce Society and is sponsored by industry, advised by faculty, and lead by a team of undergraduate business students. DFIC operates events from August through April every year which provide career, learning, and networking opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in the field of finance.

DFIC is committed to be a resource to all students who wish to seek a career in Finance at a Fortune 500, in Capital Markets, Consulting or Corporate Law. Our mission is to provide members with the adequate resources to succeed in the competitive Finance Industry through our six pillars.
